Following the Chancellor’s first fiscal statement since taking office we have produced a full digital ‘Mini’ Budget Summary.

You can read our response to the budget here. All APSCo members have access to the full digital version of the ‘mini’ budget which gives a useful reference to all the changes including the repeal of the 2017 and 2021 reforms to IR35 (also known as Off-Payroll working) from 6 April 2023 and the reversal of the rise in National Insurance Contributions (NICS) and abolition of the Social Care Levy as the Government takes dramatic action  to boost growth and see off an expected recession.

From April 2023, workers across the UK providing their services via an intermediary, such as a personal service company, will once again be responsible for determining their employment status and paying the appropriate amount of tax and NICs. APSCo’s legal team is currently reading through the fine print, so please look out for updated guidance, which we will publish shortly.

The Chancellor delivered his Spring Statement on 23 March 2022. This summary covers all the changes announced in the Chancellor’s speech and includes tables of the main rates and allowances.

APSCo has also created a Tax Facts 2022/23 booklet for members – download the tax facts booklet here. This is a handy guide to all UK taxation changes over the next tax year, including personal tax, corporation tax, National Insurance, employee benefits, and pensions.
