Adele Gladman
Adele Gladman is an established independent safeguarding trainer and consultant. Originally a solicitor, Adele became involved in practice development and safeguarding training after leading the Home Office Child Sexual Exploitation research and development pilot in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. She established the company that became Safeguarding Children Training & Consultancy Ltd in 2002. Adele is passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people and developing the skills of those who work with them.

Adele works on a UK wide basis and works with central government as well as local authorities, education (including higher education) private organisations, the voluntary sector, and two national ombudsmen. Adele is an approved independent consultant working with the NSPCC and has worked for the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse since 2018, both as an independent expert and a facilitator for the Truth Project. She is an independent auditor for APSCo (The Association of Professional Staffing Companies) and carries out audits and independent inspections for a number of Trusts and organisations.

Alexandria Barnes
Alex joined JMW in August 2022 as a Solicitor in the Employment Department.
Prior to joining JMW Alex worked as a Litigation Solicitor at a HR Consultancy in Manchester, specialising in handling a variety of Employment Tribunal matters such a unfair dismissal, TUPE and discrimination claims. Alex has a experience dealing in both contentious and non-contentious for clients of varying sizes, advising the client of potential risks whilst also seeking the best outcome.
Catherine Turner
Catherine has over 28 years of recruitment expertise within sales and contract management. Particular expertise lies within bid management including the full outsource of any bids, bid and contract reviews, profit maximisation, pricing of contracts and increasing sales within any recruitment business whether that be to launch a new division to a restructure within an existing one.
Catherine has worked within almost every sector of recruitment from industrial, commercial, IT & technical, construction, healthcare (including international) and education though to C Suite level retained executive search. Particular expertise lies with public sector framework bids and subsequent implementation for profit.
Charlotte Beeley
Charlotte joined JMW in September 2018 as a Solicitor in the Employment department.
Charlotte has experience dealing in both contentious and non-contentious matters. She has a wealth of experience in advising a broad client base – from fast growth technology companies to large multinationals. Charlotte’s expertise ranges from advising on sensitive employee mental health matters to restructuring projects and everything in between. Charlotte is always thinking about the most strategic, pragmatic and commercial way of achieving her clients’ objectives. Her ability to become integrated with her clients is something that is of great importance to her and she will ensure that the advice she provides is always tailored to the business and its sector – it is never a one-size fits all when it comes to employment law matters.
Charlotte Clark
Charlotte is an experienced, dynamic trainer with over 25 years' experience within the recruitment sector. She is well placed to meet the diverse needs of APSCo Members and non-members and all her training and projects focus on practical application as well as, most importantly, tangible results.

Dan Grima
Dan Grima is a veteran of the recruitment industry bringing 25 years of industry experience gained working with recruitment and search consultancies of all sizes across many sectors and global markets. Dan focusses on training and development of recruiters and managers and also providing strategic advice and coaching to senior leaders within the industry. His training is available face to face, over video call or through online e-learning and his style focusses entirely on what works in the real world.
Devon-Lee Andries
Devon-Lee joined JMW in January 2023 as an Associate in the Employment Law Department.
She is experienced in advising employers on employment contracts and HR policies, the employment aspects of mergers and acquisitions, grievance and disciplinary proceedings and other day-to-day HR queries. Her contentious experience encompasses advising on employment tribunal claims ranging in complexity including discrimination and whistleblowing claims.
Devon-Lee is qualified as both a Solicitor of England and Wales and as an Attorney of the High Courts of South Africa. She enjoys presenting training sessions to clients on a number of topics including legislation/case law updates and equality and diversity and endeavours to do so in an easy-to-understand, clear manner without complicated legalese.
Fiona Brunton
Fiona Brunton is one of the few professional tender writers dedicated to the recruitment industry. A recent winner of APSCo’s Recruitment Service Provider of the year award, Fiona has worked in the recruitment sector for over 20 years (Manpower, Search Consultancy & Pertemps) before setting up her own consultancy and training business in 2005.
Fiona is a brilliant trainer - she's extremely insightful and has a natural, warm, and friendly delivery style.

James Upton
James is a qualified Social Worker and a member of the international body Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT). He worked in the drugs and alcohol field for 10 years focusing on adult treatment, children in care, young offenders and as a manager in the NHS working with children and young people in treatment.
James is evidently very passionate about his role which really shows in his training. Takes the time to ensure everyone is up to speed, understands and that there is no confusion before moving on. Even via video, it felt like in person training where we were free to share and discuss our own experiences. Very much enjoyed and appreciated.
Until 2016, he worked as a practising Social Worker and Safeguarding trainer with a key focus on children, young people and their families. Louise Rayner
Louise is an ACCA qualified accountant of 25 years, with an MBA, her thesis was “Six Sigma Pricing in the MSP and RPO environment”.
She has held board level finance and operational positions at JD Wetherspoon, RSM Tenon Accountants, Adecco and Randstad
In 2015 she sold her own recruitment business to Staffline Group and since then has been involved in buying and selling a number of recruitment business,’ handling due diligence.
Eight years ago she established NumberMill Consulting, an ACCA practice that specialises in back office financial outsourcing and has over 150 recruitment clients. Additionally they payroll circa 3000 contractors, either on PAYE bureau or FCSA accredited umbrella. The business has a team of 24 accountants and payroll specialists.
This unusual insight, in to both the provider and customer of financial information in the recruitment sector, makes Louise excited to share her insights in to how to work successfully with a “Finance Partner”, be them internal book-keepers and or external accountants.
Mandy Green
Mandy’s unique blend of 25 years’ experience in both hands-on senior management and learning design and delivery means that she gets consistently excellent results in the training and coaching programmes she delivers. Originally, her background was in education, moving into academic management, then commercial management and she spent 10 years as the MD of a group of Language and Business training centres. Rachel Ellsmore

Rajia Miah
Rajia joined APSCo in September 2019 as a Legal Advisor.
She is a graduate in Law from the University of Westminster and comes with experience providing legal advice within the recruitment sector.
Her position at APSCo involves advising members and affiliates on legal and compliance issues and supports the Legal Team to deliver a variety of legal services from model contracts and guidance, to training and the Legal Helpdesk.

Rob Gee
During his long career Rob has been involved in leadership training, consulting and coaching, been a Visiting Executive Fellow at Henley Business School and a Visiting Lecturer at Cass Business School (City of London University).

Ruth Farrar
Ruth has worked in recruitment for over 20 years, and for most of that time has been involved in training alongside billing and managing. She has been an award-winning manager and Director of an IT sales recruitment business. As a successful Group Training Manager, she saw many of her trainees progress quickly to VP roles, become record-breaking top billers and others setting up their own businesses.

Shazia is General Counsel and manages the Legal and Compliance team, joining APSCo in 2021. Shazia is a UK qualified lawyer with over 15 years extensive international expertise gained in both private practice and in house. Simon Bloch
Simon is a Partner at JMW and has specific expertise in working with clients in the recruitment sector, since 2007. He has extensive knowledge and understanding about the Agency Workers’ Regulations and regulatory legislation that govern how employment agencies can operate. Simon regularly assists businesses put in place compliant contractual terms. Simon also has significant experience and expertise in advising recruitment businesses with restrictive covenant disputes and in the issues arising from the use of social media.
Tim Norton
After a successful 19 year career in the recruitment industry, Tim realised he wanted to commit his future towards his long term passion for training (well the boy band dream wasn’t going anywhere!). From his start as a sales consultant, to growing a start-up business into a £million turnover, training and coaching had always been his joy and interest.
I really liked how Tim remembered what each individual spoke to him about on the phone and when a point was very relevant to our positions he highlighted it to us.
His training experience began 17 years ago as a young manager, facilitating at Leadership and Team Building weekends in North Wales. Here Tim discovered a talent for engaging and coaching people, seeing first-hand the effect of outstanding training which he wanted to emulate.

Tina’s 35 years of recruitment expertise lies in heading a recruitment business and she now enjoys working on a consultancy basis, training and mentoring other operationally and strategically.
