The previous threshold of £18,600 has been replaced with a new standard of £29,000. Oli has a strong understanding of Westminster political and legislative processes. He advises clients on how to strategically engage with national, regional and local government stakeholders as well as supporting clients to build and run impactful single issue campaigns.
He has over seven years’ experience spanning strategic political counsel, legislative analysis and advocacy campaigns and has been supporting APSCo in its strategic public affairs work and political engagement for several years.
His political connections span a cross party spectrum, having run the voluntary side of the London campaign for the official ‘Remain’ campaign during the 2016 EU referendum.
Recently, Oli has been helping APSCo to future-proof itself and members against a change in government. He guided the creation and launch of APSCo’s 2024 Manifesto - ‘tackling the professional skills crisis’. The recent launch event for APSCo’s Manifesto was held in Parliament brought together APSCo and members with politicians from across the political spectrum and civil servants.

Arsalan Rashid is currently a solicitor within the employment team at JMW. He qualified as a solicitor after training at a large national firm in Manchester. Initially specialising in employment law, he very quickly became interested in immigration law and has since gained extensive experience navigating the complexities of UK immigration regulations. He has successfully assisted both corporate clients and private individuals in obtaining various types of visa`s as well as advising on the practical implications the ever changing immigration rules have for them.
