A Night to Remember: APSCo’s Charity Ball 2023 - Atlantis

Last week the cream of the professional recruitment sector descended on the Intercontinental Park Lane Hotel in London for APSCo’s 2023 Charity Ball, Atlantis. It was an extraordinary evening filled with joy and generosity. Thanks to your incredible efforts, just over £49,000 was raised for St Christopher's Hospice

This remarkable achievement highlights the collective effort of our attendees, sponsors and the professional recruitment sector who came together to make a significant difference in the lives of individuals and families facing life-terminating illnesses. We hope you enjoy our look back at the event below:

A journey to Atlantis begins!

As the doors opened, guests were welcomed into a world of enchantment and revelry. The air buzzed with anticipation as Mihalis entertained us with his brilliant bouzouki playing, setting the tone for an unforgettable evening.

The Intercontinental Park Lane Hotel was transformed with an array of decorations reminiscent of the mystical lost city of Atlantis, captivating everyone's imagination.

Generosity abounds

APSCo CEO, Ann Swain, took the stage and urged attendees to dig deep into their hearts and pockets. Their donations had a huge impact at improving the quality of life for adults and children facing life-terminating illnesses. Her impassioned call to action resonated with the audience, inspiring them to give generously and make a tangible difference.

A story of inspiration
Jez's heartfelt testimony for St Christophers Hospice

Jez's heartfelt testimony underscored the importance of the hospice's work, leaving a lasting impression on all those in attendance.

A feast for the gods

Amid the mesmerising ruins of Atlantis, guests indulged in a sumptuous Mediterranean feast, immersing themselves in the tantalising flavours and aromas.

A moment to treasure

Then it was time for our fabulous Champagne Diamond Draw, sponsored by Bullhorn and Brookson Group.

Over 100 guests paid £50 each for a bottle of champagne and their entry in the diamond draw. But there could only be one winner. Rob scooped the prize and will no doubt be very popular with his other half!

Guests dig deep for the live auction

The charity auction, hosted by the charismatic Edward Rising, marked a pivotal moment in the evening.

Attendees eagerly participated, bidding high on a plethora of remarkable lots. The auction served as a testament to the unwavering commitment of the professional recruitment community to support a worthy cause.

Dancing the night away in celebration

As the evening drew to a close, the dancefloor beckoned and guests partied into the small hours.
