Being an immigrant in the UK and having made a non-traditional career switch, he’s seen first-hand the emphasis society places on the past, simply for the perceived lack of better data. He has experience volunteering with a social mobility charity and having seen how gifted some of those kids are but will never get the same opportunities, he feels responsible to drive change and help shine a light on what fundamentally matters in people – who they are as individuals, not what social group they belong to.
