The Local authority child and family social worker agency rules statutory guidance
The Department for Education (DfE) published new statutory guidance for local authorities on their use of agency child and family social workers, along with the Government response to the consultation that informed the statutory guidance, on 12 September 2024. The statutory guidance will come into effect on 31 October 2024 for all local authorities in England.
The DfE will be attending our roundtable to discuss the statutory guidance with our Social Work members.
